The Role of Tarot Cards in Contemporary Culture

Today, tarot cards are not only a divination tool, but are also used in other areas, such as psychotherapy: helping to explore emotional and mental issues; spiritual counseling: finding answers in life; studying energy and relationships; and the mysteries that remain.  Although the Tarot has a history intertwined with cultures and diverse interpretations, it remains a tool steeped in charm and mystery. Many card users claim that the cards do not possess inherent power, but rather derive their power from the user and their connection to the universe. Tarot cards, or gypsy cards, are therefore not just a tool for fortune-telling, but a bridge between our minds and profound universal knowledge.
